So I had the bright idea that I wanted to have my Etsy shop show in the sidebar of my blog. I found a plug-in, installed it, got my API key, set up the plug-in, and placed the widget in my sidebar. Perfect right?? NOPE. It doesn\u2019t work. I spent over 20 hours between Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening trying to get it to work. That and a plug-in to show my most recent blog post on my non WordPress website main index.html page. You guessed it that one doesn\u2019t work either.<\/p>\n

I contacted the developers of both. The one for the Advanced Etsy Widget plug-in got back to me and redirected me to the exact same instructions. I am still waiting for the other developer to get back to me. This really shouldn\u2019t be so hard to set up. I had also posted on the WordPress forum and had someone get back to me about a plug-in his wife uses on her blog. Alas it is $79 so not in my budget and I am already out the $10 I paid for the Advanced Etsy Widget plug-in and am not too willing to try another at 8 times the price.<\/p>\n

So I decided my brain hurt enough that it was time to just let it go and focus on something else entirely. I pulled up the most recent book by\u00a0Leighann Dobbs<\/a> Never Say Pie.\u00a0<\/em>It is #14 in the Lexi Baker series. I absolutely love this series. It was refreshing to lose myself in a great cozy mystery for a while.<\/p>\n

So my question to you is \u201cHow do you decompress?\u201d<\/p>\n
